INTERNORGA 2022:
Time for a revolution!
Welbilt will be showcasing groundbreaking innovations at INTERNORGA. In the mix: revolutionary innovations such as the Merrychef conneX®, Convotherm mini and maxx pro.
After a two-year break due to the pandemic and having been postponed by several weeks, INTERNORGA will finally take place this year from April 30 to May 4, 2022 at the Hamburg exhibition center. As usual, the leading international trade fair for the entire out-of-home market will focus on inspiring visitors to the max, by creatively and fully showcasing trends and innovations for the industry. New this year is the division of the various exhibition areas, intended to create cross-thematic synergies between all players.
Kitchen technology in halls B6 and B7
The 'Kitchen Technology and Equipment' area – including the Welbilt booth - will get a new home in Halls B6 and B7. Digitization, automation, robotics and much more - here visitors will experience everything that is worth knowing about the latest kitchen systems, networked kitchen technology and future-oriented kitchen equipment. The easiest way to reach this area is via the South Entrance (U-Bahn Messehallen).
The demand for professional up-to-date kitchen technology and equipment in the catering and hotel industry has only increased since the pandemic. Long closing times, due to lockdowns, and even more dynamic delivery and takeaway business models, have significantly changed everyday life in the catering industry. A lack of staff, increasingly flexible kitchen operations and the need for maximum economy, efficiency and productivity require modern technology that sustainably combines maximum productivity, quality and effectiveness. Digital technologies, automated cooking and networked kitchen appliances support the work of kitchen professionals, multifunctional and cloud-based devices optimize more and more processes and ensure the maximum reliability of results.
Welbilt presents innovations at booth 212/B7
Welbilt Germany, as part of the world's largest manufacturer and supplier of professional catering technology, will be presenting its latest products in the field of foodservice equipment at this international industry meeting. Across 120 square metres on Booth 212, Hall B7, visitors will, amongst other things, experience live how the new Merrychef conneX® ovens are revolutionizing the world of quick cooking. Visitors can also look forward to the latest member of the Convotherm family. They will also learn how to get the most out of our CREM EX3 coffee machines thanks to live demonstrations by our barista.
The new space-saving Merrychef conneX® ovens are predestined for small kitchens and enable up to 80% faster cooking than other methods. The conneX® is differentiated by its breakthrough connectivity: multi-site hosts can now upload menus to all connected units simply by pressing a button. In addition, Merrychef's conneX® models feature an intuitive 7-inch glossy HD controller touch screen for even greater user-friendliness.
Another star awaits trade visitors at the Welbilt booth: the newest member of the Convotherm family. The new mini is Convotherm's smallest high-end combi oven. Like its predecessors, it is a small all-rounder and, thanks to its further improved user-friendliness and networking, is the ideal complement to the Merrychef rapid cooking systems. Together, they form a strong team for modern and profitable delivery and takeaway concepts.
Top technology for top gastronomy
Also on show for the first time at the trade show is the Convotherm maxx pro family, which was only launched in the fall of 2021. Its cutting-edge technology and extensive range of functions make this innovative combi oven extremely versatile and suitable for all cooking methods. Whether for roasting, grilling, smoking, steaming, gratinating or baking in communal or individual catering - the Convotherm maxx pro offers maximum flexibility, top quality and maximum individuality on just 1 square metre. This premium class appliance offers real added value for every user with state-of-the-art technologies such as the 10''TFT HiRes glass touch display with scroll function, fully automatic cooking or triple glazing of the cooking chamber door for improved energy consumption.
Diversity around the coffee bean: coffee machines from Crem
With the Crem brand of coffee machines, Welbilt presents a wide variety of solutions for all coffee bean requirements at INTERNORGA. In addition to Crem's fully automatic and brewing machines, the company will also be presenting portafilter machines. Highlight: The multiple award-winning Crem EX3 portafilter. The power package for espresso and coffee specialties in high-end barista quality will be the focus of the live barista demonstrations.
